Privacy policy
For the Kev and Dave tools app (Google Cloud project "kevandave tools").
Who this covers
The app is used only by the owner of the Kev & Dave YouTube channel, to read that channel's own data. No other users sign in.
What data the app accesses
- With
youtube.readonly: the channel's name, handle, subscriber, view and video counts, and its list of videos. - With
yt-analytics.readonly: views and audience-retention figures for the channel's own videos.
The app doesn't access email, contacts, files or any other Google data, and it never reads other people's accounts.
How the data is used
Only to show the channel owner how their videos perform, so they can improve future episodes. The data isn't sold, shared with third parties, used for advertising, or used to train AI models.
Where it is stored
The sign-in token and the statistics are kept on the owner's private server, readable only by the owner. Statistics are kept as long as the channel runs, and the owner deletes them when they stop using the app.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Kev and Dave tools' use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Removing access
Access can be removed at any time at myaccount.google.com/connections. Stored statistics are then deleted on request.
